When two ends of a spectrum meet in harmony, eventual function is achieved. Take for example a classic San Diego fish; wide, short, flat and fast is merged with a high-pro thruster; narrow, thin, curvy, vertical, radical. The marriage of these designs is where the Magic Quiver Performance Fish emanates. 

The model, compared to a common small wave board, has a tad more nose rocker to promote vertical approach when the surf begins steepening. Increased tail kick to support back-foot pressure without fear of slipping. Recommended upright twin fin with optional stabilizer to increase pivot and hold. Ride it strictly two-finned for a looser feel. Sizing here is key to ensure sinking the rail. Suggested board height will be closer to your own.

From a standard shortboarder’s perspective, the design allows increased flow and speed without the loss of total performance. Closer to freeform jazz than anything orchestrated. The classic fish surfer should imagine this board drawing familiar horizontal lines but with capacity for tighter arcing turns and a more progressive style of ride. Envision carves and roundhouse cutbacks. Snaps instead of reentries. Comfortable in the tube, free on the foamball.
