Surf Prescriptions is a custom surfboard factory in Huntington Beach, California run by the Mad Doctor, Jeff “Doc” Lausch. Since 1982, Surf Prescriptions have been pushing the limits of high performance and alternative surfcraft. THE BUSHWACKER

User-friendly egg shape has been a long time top seller at Surf RX and currently is more popular than ever. It has a full round nose and full round tail classic egg shape. Bottom design is single to deep double barrel concave bottom. They are great boards for surfers of all levels. Get them 2-6 inches shorter than you standard shortboard if you want to really rip it or any other size if you just want a fun cruisey board. They’re super fun in anything from ankle high to a few feet overhead.

Can be ordered as a thruster, quad, five fin combo or even as a Bonzer variation which Doc calls ‘Thang’.

HIP JELL THANG

Bonzer bottom and fin setup. The Thang (Bonzer) features a single fin center box and two glassed on side runners. Glides like a single fin and and holds carves like a thruster. Works in anything and and excels in clean conditions. Superb in solid conditions.

NO BAD DAYS

Name says it all. Get our there and with this thang and you’re guaranteed some fun rides. Bonzer bottom and fin setup. The Thang (Bonzer) features a single fin center box and two glassed on side runners.

DEADLY FLYING TURTLE

The Deadly Flying Turtle, along with the V-12 Flying Turtle, is another member of the popular turtle family. The Deadly Flying Turtle can handle a much wider range of conditions with its ability to go with a 3 fin set up. It has the same bottom design as the V-12 but the tail and nose are pulled in with more nose rocker to allow it to handle steeper and larger conditions. It works well for surfers of all levels in waves from ankle high to a few feet overhead. Get it 2-4 inches shorter than your standard shortboard.

THE V12 FLYING TURTLE

The V-12 Flying Turtle turns knee high dribble into a skate park. Bottom design is deep double barrel concave running tip to tail. This bottom contour, full outline and flat rocker gives the V-12 Flying Turtle a real loose yet drivey feeling. Works great in dismal conditions from ankle high to head high. Perfect for surfers of all skill levels looking for a board that will get them in the water everyday despite the conditions. Get it 3-6 inches shorter than your standard shortboard. NEW TOY

The New Toy is one of the most loved board designs in Surf Rx history. It features a full nose double bump round tail outline. The tail is thin and foiled out. The bottom’s slight single to double concave combined with the rocker, foil and rails makes this board an instant favorite for anyone that hops on one. It’s a great board for surfers of all levels. It works great in all waves from ankle high to 3-4 feet overhead. Get it 2-6 inches shorter than your standard shortboard.

G-MONEY II

The G-Money II is the ultimate big wave board. It has a full almost funboard nose outline and rocker with a standard high performance pin tail shape and rocker. This gives you the paddling power to get into bigger waves then maneuver the board with ease once you’re up on it. We’ve made them from 5’10” to 10’5”. Depending on the size you get it, it will work in anything from waist high to well over double overhead. If you’re looking to charge, this is the board for you.

FLYING TURTLE

OLD SCHOOL TWIN

The Old School Twin is your classic old school twin fin fish. With the sleek and foiled out design, it feedbacks better than ever allowing for high performance surfing to be done on these classically more cruisey boards. It works in anything from ankle high to slightly overhead. Get it 2-4 inches shorter than your standard shortboard. Every surfer should have one of these in their quiver.

NDR

Originally designed as a small wave grovel board, the NDR has proved to be a standout in all conditions. It features a low rocker, fuller nose outline and moderate single to double concave. The pulled in tail allows it to handle waves with some power. It’s a great board for surfers of all levels looking for a board that will work in anything from knee high to 3-4 feet overhead. Get it the size of your standard shortboard to 4 inches shorter.

NEW BUDDY

The New Buddy is one of the first full bodied groveler thrusters we did. It is the Godfather of the popular F-Money model. It features a pointed but full nose with a wide bump squash tail and a single to double concave bottom design. The design allows for high performance surfing in waves from ankle high to a few feet overhead. It is a great board for surfers of all levels. Get it 1-2 inches shorter than your standard shortboard. It is a great board for the surfer that likes to ride a standard thruster in even the worst conditions.
